Those of you familiar with my writing and opinion know that I am pro regulation of marijuana. I would like to see the law ease up on marijuana use, particular in the medical forum. I would also like to see people have free access to quality products like glass pipes or vaporizers, whatever they choose. I enjoy being in the glass art industry and if it benefits others then I’m all for it.
A lot of patients are successful using Marijuana for the following:
Reducing Nausea and vomiting which is extremely helpful for those suffering from side effects of other drugs (ex. Chemotherapy).
Relief for muscle tension and pain
Reduction in tremors
Reduction in anxiety
Control of Glaucoma by keeping eye pressure in check
I also read in the Denver Post that people are in a frenzy to obtain medical marijuana in the state. Apparently, there are on average 400 cards being issued by the state each day now. This just shows the huge demand for medical marijuana. We know that many people are taking advantage of this and getting prescriptions from their doctors without actually suffering from any illness. Everyone expects abuse of the new laws. As I have said before, there is more and more support for outright legalization everyday and we need to let adults make their own decisions; government should let people run their own lives.

As you can see by the title it discusses how marijuana with all it’s benefits has a bad rep, while alcohol who kills who knows how many every year is as accessible and popular as ever.
Any thoughts? Do you think adults should have freedom to choose when it comes to marijuana or do you think government should ultimately choose for us? What are your thoughts on the economic benefits of legalization?
